Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, Missouri is seeking an Associate Loads and Dynamics Engineer to support loads and dynamics assessments for fixed-wing aircraft within the Air Dominance division. You will develop models and run analyses for air vehicle design, flight and ground tests, and coordinate with internal teams and customers.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 2+ years of experience, with coursework in aerodynamics, stability/control, and FEM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field as listed in the job statement.
• 2+ years work experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Course work in Aerodynamics, Stability & Control, Structural Dynamics, Aeroelasticity or FEM.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing air vehicle requirements.
• Create vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis.
• Perform loads and dynamics analysis for air vehicle design (flight/ground simulations).
• Assist in developing flight and ground test requirements and plans.
• Support testing with pre-test analyses, data post-processing, and documentation.
• Support airworthiness activities with regulatory agencies and customers.
• Assist in developing vehicle flight envelope and limits.
