Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a General Dynamics subsidiary, seeks an Interior Installer Technician I to support aircraft interior removals and installations under supervision. The role builds foundational skills in interiors, tooling, and documentation, with guidance from senior technicians.

Strong safety and quality focus is required; first shift with up to 25% travel. Requires a High School Diploma or GED; trade school/related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Trade school or related installation/fabrication experience preferred.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors per work orders and specs.
• Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with procedures and sign-offs.
• Use material tracking system to create parts demand and sign off paperwork.
• Follow SOPs and safely operate tools such as hand tools, band saws, and sanders.
• Maintain safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; address unsafe conditions.
