Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Interior Install Tech 4in GAC Savannah to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors in a high-precision environment. You will work under limited supervision, coordinating with Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures and FAA sign-offs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years in installation/fabrication, preferably in aerospace.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
4 years of applicable installation, fabrication or related experience.
Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors including galley, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels.
Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure FAA paperwork and quality specs are met.
Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians and review their work prior to sign-off.
Lead projects or other technicians; procure materials and documentation for tasks.
Utilize material tracking to create parts demand and sign-off completed work.
Follow SOPs for tools and equipment and maintain shop gear.
Prepare and install interior items per procedures and quality standards.
Address safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use PPE as required.
