Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation in Dallas, TX, is seeking an Engineer I to start within Enterprise Application Services. You will collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and support AI agents and automation solutions, gaining hands-on experience with emerging technologies.

You will work with Microsoft Foundry, Agent 365, and Power Platform, building foundational enterprise engineering skills, documentation, and incident response experience in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Experience with programming languages (Python, C#/.NET, JS/TS) required.
• Knowledge of AI concepts (models, MCP servers, RAG) preferred.
• Entry-level banking/financial services knowledge preferred.
• Classroom/CI/CD experience with code repositories and automated builds.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support AI agents and agent-based solutions across Microsoft AI and cloud platforms.
• Partner with Senior Engineers to ensure solutions align with engineering standards and enterprise patterns.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and DR testing.
• Monitor system performance and ensure security and integrity of IT systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
