Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an entry-level welder to join the AGILITY Fabrication Division. You will support our Dev. Pad rebuilds, test stands, launch pads, and tooling sites across facilities, learning under senior welders while performing build-to-print welds.

You will collaborate with a team of technicians to deliver weldments that meet safety and quality goals, with opportunities for training and growth in welding processes and fabrication skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated welding experience with SMAW, FCAW and GMAW.
• Able to work 1st or 2nd shift; weekends/overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform build-to-print and prototype weldments across programs.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure weldments meet design specs and quality goals.
