RTX is seeking an entry-level metallurgical contributor to support the East Hartford Q&PE Core Laboratory Group. The role focuses on chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical testing for validation to blueprint and specification requirements of aerospace materials and parts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science, with a GPA around 3.0, and an interest in laboratory work. Onsite work at East Hartford, with relocation eligibility and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or other Engineering degree with minor in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
• Qualifications We Prefer: prior metallurgical laboratory experience; RTX internship or work experience; GPA minimum 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallurgical analyses related to the evaluation of aerospace materials for compliance to standards.
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate lab reports.
• Interact effectively with customers at all levels.
