Job summary

RTX, in Pueblo, CO, is seeking an entry-level Material/Process Engineer to monitor manufacturing processes for carbon/carbon composite aircraft brakes and to qualify new technology for production. You will work onsite, collaborating with engineers and production teams to resolve process issues and drive improvements.

You will gain hands-on experience with aerospace manufacturing processes, learn aerospace specifications, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives while delivering detailed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or, related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing production monitoring and troubleshooting under guidance from engineers.
• Data mining and analysis in support of root-cause investigations and change validation.
• Write detailed technical reports and deliver presentations.
• Write and maintain product and process specifications.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost or improve processes.
• Coordinate among carbon sites, Troy HQ, and other departments regarding brake programs.
