Job summary

RTX, based in Pueblo, CO, seeks a Material/Process Engineer to manage and improve carbon/carbon composite brake production on-site. You will monitor processes, analyze data, and drive root-cause investigations while collaborating with multiple sites and departments.

You will qualify technology for production, write technical reports, and support cost-reduction initiatives. A bachelor’s in a STEM field is required, with strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related STEM) by start date.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot production processes with engineers.
• Data mining and root cause analysis for changes.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and deliver presentations.
• Write and maintain product and process specifications.
• Support continuous improvement for cost reduction or process improvement.
• Coordinate with carbon sites, Troy HQ, and other departments on brake programs.
