You will perform precision mechanical assembly, including close-tolerance drilling, countersinking, fastener and rivet installation, trimming, and sub-assembly work, while following established procedures and maintaining accurate production records. Success in this position requires strong technical and mechanical aptitude, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and first-pass yield.

Responsibilities
  • Build engine inlet air filtration systems for rotorcraft according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal sub-assemblies for rotorcraft platforms such as CH-53K and UH-60, as well as low-volume parts.
  • Perform close-tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, and assembly operations.
  • Install and remove universal and flush head rivets, hi-loks, cherry-max fasteners, hi-shear fasteners, and platenuts as required.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings and related documentation to ensure proper build completion.

  • Complete all job-related documentation and production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Select appropriate hand tools and power tools for each task and use them safely and effectively.
