Job summary

Astronics PECO in Clackamas, Oregon, is seeking Production Assemblers to join the Precision Finishing team on swing shift (3pm–11:30pm, Mon-Fri). This entry-level role emphasizes attention to detail and steady hands to read blueprints, calibrate parts, and assist with paint and assembly processes.

You'll gain hands-on experience working with hand tools, using an MRP computer system, and ensuring quality conformance. Pre-employment screen and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent not required.
• Experience in small to medium part assembly not required.
• Comfortable with hand tools and basic math.
• Can read and interpret directions; able to use a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or production procedures to form a complete unit.
• Calibrate parts to specifications and seal joints using adhesives.
• Prepare parts before/after paint operations and perform touch-ups.
• Inspect final products and adjust or rework as needed to meet specs.
• Use computer to track work in MRP and maintain quality standards.
• Work safely with tools and materials and follow training.
