Job summary

BBI Logistics, LLC is seeking an Account Coordinator in training to focus on the fast-paced brokerage side of our business. You will learn from experienced Account Specialists to grow your individual book of business through constant communication with carriers and customers.

You will generate leads, cold-call prospects, and negotiate freight costs while using our proprietary TMS to move freight and resolve issues.

• Generate leads and qualify prospects to build a book of business
• Execute 80+ cold calls daily to forge relationships with prospects and customers
• Negotiate freight costs and provide updates to clients
• Manage freight movement and resolve issues using our TMS
• Communicate proactively with customers and carriers to resolve problems

Job description

BBI is looking for competitive, confident, and passionate individuals to join our growing team. As an Account Coordinator in training, you will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business. You will learn from experienced Account Specialists how to create and manage your individual book of business through constant communication with carriers and customers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creatively self-generate leads and qualify prospects
• Execute 80+ cold calls per day to build relationships with prospects and existing customers
• Stay up to date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and
• Manage freight movement and problem solve in real time by utilizing our proprietary TMS
• software
• Proactively communicate when resolving issues and provide updates to customers and carriers
• What you’ll bring to the table.
• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale
• Mental endurance. An Account Executive will be on the phone for long hours, hear a lot of
• rejection, and will have to continue to push through
• Willing to go the extra mile to work after normal business hours and weekends
• Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit (if you’re not first, you’re last)
• Strong ability to sell and negotiate with confidence and a winning attitude
• Maintain composure in high-stress scenarios
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to recognize and prioritize
