BBI Logistics is seeking a drayage sales rep to join our growing team in Columbus, OH. You will drive new business in the drayage sector, build relationships with shipping lines, and close strategic deals with clients and carriers.

You will identify leads, negotiate favorable terms, and stay ahead of industry trends. A 100% on-site role at our downtown HQ is required, with opportunities for uncapped commissions and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional sales experience preferred.
• International, drayage or logistics sales experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit; willing to go the extra mile.
• Master at closing the deal with proven hunting and closing experience.
• Confident seller who negotiates with winning attitude.
• Ability to work 100% on-site at HQ in downtown Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Identify and self-generate new leads in the US and MX drayage market; convert warm leads into sales.
• Initiate sales calls and build strategic relationships with shipping lines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities.
• Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with clients, carriers, and suppliers.
• Monitor industry trends to capitalize on emerging drayage opportunities.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth drayage operations.

As a master of drayage solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining key client relationships while securing top-notch business opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing.

• Energize your creativity to identify and self-generate new leads within the drayage market in the US and MX. Seek out potential clients and establish initial contact. Be able to convert warm leads into a sale
• Initiate sales calls and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders including shipping lines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities
• Utilize your exceptional negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients, carriers, and suppliers
• Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of the drayage landscape to capitalize on emerging opportunities
• Collaborate with team mates to ensure smooth and efficient drayage operations

• You are a master at closing the deal and you have proven experience in hunting and closing business
• International, drayage or logistics sales experience preferred
