Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Richmond, VA is seeking a fully onsite Laboratory Support role. You will receive and log reference materials, perform QC on data, and process lab requests with discretion and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and knowledge of inventory systems, compliance guidelines, and SOPs. This position requires PPE use, safety awareness, and timely collaboration with colleagues and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with inventory control and lab workflow.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Receives and logs reference materials into designated systems.
• Performs QC checks on data entry for accuracy and consistency.
• Processes laboratory requests with due diligence and confidentiality.
• Identifies and resolves routine problems with guidance.
• Communicates with lab personnel, vendors, and sponsors.
• Provides guidance on stability procedures and SOPs.
• Trains staff on SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• May handle hazardous waste per safety regulations.
