Job summary

Western Milling in Goshen, IN, is seeking an entry-level hand-add operator to support production and ensure clean, organized hand-add areas. The role includes operating forklifts, staging ingredients, and cross-training in other plant support tasks.

You will document batch records for traceability, label containers, and assist with overflow tasks; overtime may be scheduled or called in. A high school diploma is required; forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to support production.
• Stage and organize ingredients for mixing operators.
• Cross-trained in other support roles.
• Clear documentation of batch records for traceability.
• Maintain cleanliness in hand-add and finished product areas.
• Label storage bins and containers for ingredients.
• Perform repetitive tasks with both hands.
• Provide back-up support for other roles as necessary.
• Overtime work on a scheduled or call-in basis.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
