ISS Solutions is seeking an Associate Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET I) for our operations in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role focuses on inspection, preventive maintenance, and low-level repair of medical equipment, with travel as needed to client sites.

You will operate test equipment, read manuals, update records, and prepare to handle on-call repairs within several months. Candidates should have a two-year BMET degree or equivalent experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in BMET or two-year tech program plus experience.
• Ability to travel as needed for tasks.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Proficient reading/writing in English.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to perform on-call repair responsibilities within six to nine months.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, preventive maintenance, and low-level repair of medical equipment.
• Operate basic test equipment and replace components as needed.
• Maintain records of work assignments and read technical manuals.
• Travel as necessary to service equipment.
• Prepare to assume on-call repair responsibilities within six to nine months.
