Job summary

Hertrich Family of Dealerships in Dover, Delaware, is seeking a General Auto Service Tech / Entry-Level Mechanic. You should have 1–2 years of automotive repair experience. Paid training is provided as you join a family-owned, high-volume shop with modern facilities and career growth opportunities.

You will perform basic services, complete MPIs, assist with brake services, and gain hands-on experience toward technician certifications in a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Valid driver's license with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs).
• Assist with brake services (experience a plus, not required).
• Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
