The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is seeking a General Auto Service Tech / Entry-Level Mechanic with 1–2 years of automotive repair experience. This role offers paid training, a clear career path, and the chance to advance within a busy, high-volume shop across multiple brands.

You will perform oil changes, MPIs, and basic brake service while learning toward technician certifications. A high school diploma, a valid license, and your own basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Valid driver's license with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs).
• Assist with brake services (experience a plus, not required).
• Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
