Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations, including Firestone Complete Auto Care, is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician in South Carolina. You will join a supportive team servicing vehicles with full and part-time benefits starting from day one and a pay range of $11.88 to $17.82 per hour.

The role emphasizes learning basic mechanical tasks, performing preventive services, tire maintenance, and safety checks while providing opportunities for ASE certifications and career growth within Bridgestone.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
