Job summary

Cox Automotive in Conway, AR is seeking a detailer to ensure vehicles are cleaned to sale condition per customer and Auction standards. Responsibilities include interior cleaning, washing, buffing, and detailing both inside and out, with safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to drive various vehicle types and physical stamina. Hourly pay ranges from $13.70 to $20.53, with potential for additional compensation like commissions or incentives

Qualifications

• Typically, less than 2 years of related field experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, squat and lean for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and remove debris from vehicles including ashtrays, consoles, seats and trunk.
• Wash vehicles with high-pressure washers; clean engine compartments and terminals.
• Buff and detail exteriors; apply products to improve appearance and longevity.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and spot-clean carpets and upholstery; organize glove compartments.
• Drive vehicles to staging areas and assist on sale days as needed.
