Job summary

Cox Automotive in Conway, AR is seeking a Detail Shop Technician I to prepare vehicles for sale by thorough cleaning and conditioning per dealer standards. You will inspect vehicles, clean interiors, wash exteriors, and ensure safety and quality during reconditioning.

Responsibilities include applying cleaners and waxes, buffing, and driving vehicles to staging areas as needed. No remote work; on-site at Cox Automotive location.

Qualifications

• Minimum - generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail vehicles to sale condition per standards.
• Inspect vehicles and work areas after reconditioning.
• Clean interior by removing debris from ashtrays, consoles, seats, and cargo area.
• Wash vehicles, wax and buff exterior surfaces; buff tires and wheels.
• Operate and drive vehicles to staging or loading areas as required.
