Job summary

Penn State seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead and execute entrepreneurship programs connecting students, faculty, alumni, and community members to Penn State's innovation ecosystem.

This in-person role, with occasional remote days, reports to the Director of Economic Development and Student Programs, overseeing program development, sponsorships, budgets, and evaluation across campus and shared ventures with LaunchBox and Innovation Network.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, managing, and adapting programs or events for diverse audiences.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Penn State Startup Week and related entrepreneurship programs.
• Develop statewide programming with LaunchBox and Innovation Network for multi-campus reach.
• Manage budgets, contracts, registrations, marketing, logistics, and on-site operations.
• Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and pursue improvements.
