Job summary

TruFund Financial Services is seeking a Program Officer in Alabama to help implement a continuum of advisory services for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and not-for-profits. The role emphasizes program administration, community outreach, and stakeholder collaboration.

The candidate will support training events, manage lending activity documentation, and assist with reporting to funders and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3–5 years training/technical assistance experience
• Experience planning and conducting trainings for diverse audiences
• MWBE, LMI businesses and not-for-profit organizations experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for planning, coordination, implementation and assessment of all program activity, events, training and workshops.
• Provide one-on-one support to entrepreneurs and business owners to support capacity building and growth.
• Conduct trainings and facilitate workshops for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
• Provide administrative support for lending activity including loan packaging and CRM compliance.
• Assist with budget/expenditure tracking, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Ensure achievement of organizational goals, reporting guidelines, and project timelines.
• Utilize program tracking systems and contribute to participant selection and evaluation.
• Support development of program reports and agreements.
