Job summary

UAH College of Business in Alabama seeks a Project Director to oversee grant compliance, fiscal management, and program leadership for access and engagement initiatives. You will direct data collection, reporting, and staff supervision to support high school completion and postsecondary readiness across partner districts.

The role requires collaboration with federal and local partners, travel, and occasional evening/weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible professional experience in college access, student support, or grant-funded programs.
• Experience supervising staff and managing partnerships with schools and community organizations.
• Ability to work with diverse populations including first-generation and low-income students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant administration, compliance & fiscal management with budget oversight.
• Direct data collection, analysis, and performance reporting to stakeholders.
• Lead student services design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Hire, train, and supervise grant staff and temporary personnel.
• Coordinate with districts, partners, and national conferences; occasional travel.
