Job summary

Arts in Counseling (AiC) is relocating to Wyncote, PA and seeks a licensed or MT-BC eligible Music Therapist to join our on-site private practice. This role may be part-time or full-time, with a six-month ramp to a full caseload.

You will provide clinical music therapy for all ages, plus groups, and potential couples/family therapy where experienced. Documentation, supervision, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed or pre-licensed in one of: Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, MFT or Psychologist.
• MT-BC credential or eligibility is required.
• Master’s in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• On-site work location in Wyncote, PA.
• Onboard by December 2026; begin January 2027.
• Diversity, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices.
• Participate in insurance credentialing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical music therapy to individuals across the lifespan.
• Offer groups and/or couples/family therapy as appropriate.
• Assess needs, develop treatment plans, document progress.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Use Simple Practice to manage referrals, scheduling, and billing.
• Engage in supervision and team meetings; support community initiatives.
