Arts in Counseling (AiC) is relocating to Wyncote, PA and seeks a licensed or MT-BC eligible Music Therapist to join our on-site private practice. This role may be part-time or full-time, with a six-month ramp to a full caseload.
You will provide clinical music therapy for all ages, plus groups, and potential couples/family therapy where experienced. Documentation, supervision, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Arts in Counseling (AiC) is an outpatient private practice that offers creative arts therapies across the lifespan, arts-in-health projects, organizational trainings and community creative health initiatives. We are at an exciting juncture of relocating from Hatboro, PA to Wyncote, PA in the historically remodeled building. It's a neighborhood setting and we will be sharing the building with a woman-owned family orthodontics practice (Wyncote Orthodontics). We will have full creative arts therapies studios to offer clinical work + arts-in-health initiatives (workshops, groups, trainings, series). We are seeking a part-time or full-time entrepreneurial Music Therapist to join our team!
The Music Therapist will provide clinical music therapy to individuals across the lifespan and offer groups (plus couples and/or family therapy if experinced in this). If you're applying with experience, or interest in a certain population, please note that. The Music Therapist will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, document clinical progress, and coordinate care with other members of the multidisciplinary team. Music Therapist will also use Simple Practice, an electronic health record, to manage referrals, schedule clients and bill for services. Music Therapist will accept a mix of insurance and private pay. Additional responsibilities include weekly clinical supervision with AiC Clinical Director and option to participate in monthly group supervision amongst team and interdisciplinary community colleagues; team meetings; professional development trainings; and collaboration with community initiatives that support the mission of Arts in Counseling.
