Job summary

Aflac is seeking an Insurance Agent in Oakland to drive sales and growth with business owners and HR teams. This role offers on-the-ground training and uncapped earning potential through commissions, bonuses, residuals, and stock opportunities.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, outgoing, and motivated, with strong communication skills and a commitment to client financial security. Training is provided, and you’ll operate as an independent agent under the Aflac family of insurers.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales is welcome but not required.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners and HR.
• Willing to learn about supplemental insurance products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales: presentations, B2B management, enrollment, guidance and education on insurance products
• Entrepreneurial ambitions: provide strategic and executable solutions to clients
• Marketing strategy and lead generation
• Customer, client and business owner relationship management
• Leadership and management of customer relationships
• Maintaining state licensing (Life and/or Health, other)
