Job summary

AEC Consulting Group in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Concrete Construction Project Manager with at least 5 years of CONCRETE construction experience to join our client’s Alpharetta office. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities include supervising contract administration, managing change orders, submittals, RFIs, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CONCRETE construction experience and a B.S. in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to solve problems through critical thinking
• Supervise, develop, and delegate tasks to direct reports and provide feedback as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, Sage

Responsibilities

• Understand owner contract requirements, bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, reporting and costs
• Manage subcontracting process from scope review to final execution and safety during preconstruction
• Review contract documents with all project participants to ensure on-time and within-budget completion
• Establish relationships and communication tools with suppliers to verify materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and personnel are obtained
• Build relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups reflecting company values
• Conduct presentations to seek new business opportunities through relationships
