Job summary

You will work under the direction of the Executive Chef, contributing to a high-quality dining program while upholding sanitation and portion control standards. The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of kitchen production experience, and 1 year in food preparation, with proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum 2 years production kitchen experience.
• Minimum 1 year food preparation experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Review daily menus and work assignments to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Prepare entrées, soups, and modified diets following recipes and methods.
• Set up food stations, ensure proper temperatures, and maintain portion control.
• Label, date, store, and utilize leftovers appropriately.
• Follow sanitation procedures and assist with daily kitchen cleanliness.
