Job summary

The Boston Public Health Commission seeks a dynamic leader to oversee the Entre Familia Residential Program, guiding services for pregnant and postpartum women and children in MA. You will shape policies, ensure quality care, and manage budgeting, staffing, and compliance with licensing standards.

With a focus on equity and anti-racism, you will build partnerships, supervise clinical staff, and drive program evaluation to improve outcomes for women and families affected by substance use

Qualifications

  • Master in Mental Health degree with required licensure or CADAC/LADC I certification.
  • Knowledge of public health in addressing racism, social determinants of health, and health equity.
  • Commitment to health equity and racial/social justice issues.
  • 3+ years of leadership in human services, public health, and/or clinical services.
  • 5+ years’ experience providing clinical services.
  • 2+ years’ experience supervising clinical services to adults in outpatient or residential settings.
  • Ability to translate theory of SUD into practical residential treatment.
  • Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive continuum of SUD services.
  • Knowledge of gender and cultural issues in SUD and recovery.
  • Multilingual-multicultural proficiency preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, and/or English).

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and supervision of the Entre Familia Residential Program.
  • Design, implement, and oversee all services and clinical documentation.
  • Lead evaluation, redesign, and advancement of the program’s treatment curriculum.
  • Develop, plan, and report goals, objectives, and outcomes with the program management team.
  • Supervise Program Manager and coordinate with other BPHC/RSB programs.
  • Ensure licensing compliance, reporting, and clinical documentation accuracy.
  • Oversee staff development, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community partners and BHCHP medical team.
  • Lead on-call coverage and manage program funding and third-party billing.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and ADA-compliant facility environment.
