Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking an Entra ID Authentication Administrator to configure, maintain, and support SAML/OAuth-based authentication for enterprise applications within the IT Solutions Division. The role may offer a hybrid schedule with some days in the office and remote work options after a probationary period.

At the 393.1 or 393.2 level, you will collaborate with engineers and end users, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements to authentication

Qualifications

• DOE Q-level clearance eligibility (US citizenship)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Entra ID in enterprise
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with SAML/OIDC integration and MFA/conditional access

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and support Entra ID authentication services
• Interface with end users and engineering teams for root cause analysis
• Design and deliver authentication solutions using Entra ID and related technologies
• Implement changes using formal change control processes
• Maintain high service reliability and meet SLAs
• Develop automation to reduce operational overhead
• Support 24/7 on-call rotation and after-hours support
• Perform other duties as assigned
