Job summary

Avnet is seeking an experienced Microsoft Identity & Access Management professional with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience managing Active Directory and Entra ID environments in a hybrid identity architecture. The role focuses on secure authentication, Conditional Access, SAML integrations, and modern identity management, ensuring security, reliability and efficiency of identity infrastructure.

This position requires U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on AD/Entra ID administration experience.
• Experience with hybrid identity architectures and Entra ID integration.
• Knowledge of authentication methods, CA policies, MFA and SSO.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Configure and manage Entra ID users, groups, apps, and identities.
• Implement and maintain Conditional Access and MFA controls.
• Design and troubleshoot SAML-based app integrations and SSO.
• Coordinate AD and Entra ID synchronization and Connect tools.
• Monitor security posture and respond to authentication incidents.
