Job summary

Irvine Technology Corporation seeks a Senior Entra ID Engineer (SME) for Security Operations in Cincinnati, OH. This long-term contract role focuses on Microsoft Entra ID authentication, hybrid identity, and application integrations, with a hands-on emphasis on security and compliance.

You will collaborate with application owners, the help desk, and the SailPoint team to resolve access issues, migrate apps, and enforce robust access controls across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IAM or Windows/Microsoft infrastructure, including 3+ years administering Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, enterprise applications, app registrations, and SSO integrations.
• Working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM, including troubleshooting tokens, federation metadata, claims, and attributes.

Responsibilities

• Own the Entra ID ticket queue, troubleshooting sign-in failures, MFA issues, access requests, application errors, and directory synchronization problems.
• Manage security and Microsoft 365 groups, dynamic membership rules, and group-based access; onboard enterprise applications using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Configure and troubleshoot Conditional Access policies using sign-in logs, What If, and report-only mode.
• Support tenant and Active Directory-to-Entra application migrations under the architect's design, and monitor hybrid identity health across Entra Connect, Cloud Sync, and on-premises AD.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, maintain runbooks and change documentation, and collaborate across teams to support PCI DSS and audit requirements.

Senior Entra ID Engineer (SME) – Security Operations

We are seeking a Senior Entra ID Engineer to support and improve the day-to-day identity operations of a fintech organization. This hands-on role focuses on Microsoft Entra ID authentication, application integrations, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity support. You will partner with application owners, the help desk, and the SailPoint team to resolve access issues and maintain a secure, reliable identity environment.

What You’ll Do:

What Gets You the Job:

• 5+ years of experience in IAM or Windows/Microsoft infrastructure, including 3+ years administering Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, enterprise applications, app registrations, and SSO integrations.
• Working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM, including troubleshooting tokens, federation metadata, claims, and attributes.
• Solid Active Directory skills covering OUs, groups, GPOs, and hybrid synchronization, plus PowerShell scripting experience. Microsoft Graph experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and experience with ticketing and change management processes such as ServiceNow. SC-300 certification, PIM, passwordless authentication, MFA rollouts, SailPoint exposure, and regulated financial services experience are pluses.
