Job summary

Lennar in Irving, TX seeks an Entitlements Manager to lead all entitlements for new residential communities. You will coordinate with local agencies, consultants, and internal teams to secure approvals, plans, and permits on aggressive schedules.

Required: five years in entitlements and homebuilding, strong Excel/Office skills, and effective writing and communication abilities. This role requires in-person presence at job sites.

Qualifications

• Five years of entitlements and homebuilding experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction management, urban design, business, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of obtaining entitlements, plan approvals & permits for new residential communities, including documents and maps.
• Coordinate with agencies, consultants, and internal departments to meet strict entitlement and development schedules.
• Coordinate input from division executives regarding site and architectural design.
• Obtain required permits from local jurisdictions in support of land development and home building operations.
• Arrange and manage consultants, engineers, and other professionals for development applications and approvals.
• Oversee entitlement contracts with outside consultants.
• Assist in due diligence for potential land acquisitions.
• Support Operations Department and ensure alignment with community timelines.
• Schedule and supervise activities of consultants and trade partners to meet approvals and timelines.
• Liaise with Lennar partners, consultants and agencies to resolve issues and share information.
• Assist in processing plans or paperwork for agency approvals and permits or bond releases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
