Crayola is seeking an Entertainment Team Member to ensure guests have a rewarding, memorable experience through interactive programs, roving entertainment, and character interactions (Tip & Pip) within Crayola Experience. You will help run manufacturing demos and Café stage shows while engaging families and children in a fun, educational environment.

Must be available weekdays and weekends, with a positive, outgoing personality and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Frontline guest interaction and service experience preferred.
• Ability to engage children and families in a positive manner.
• Experience in a museum, educational setting, or family attraction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and perform the crayon manufacturing process and Café stage shows for guests.
• Ensure crayon materials are stocked and functional for upcoming shows.
• Cover other attraction areas as needed and safely operate related machinery.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

As an Entertainment Team Member, you will ensure our guests have a rewarding and memorable experience that will keep them coming back again and again. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating quality interactive programs (manufacturing and Café stage shows), roving entertainment, character interaction (Tip & Pip) within the Crayola Experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate and perform the crayon manufacturing process & Café stage Shows to CE guests. *
• Ensure that the Crayola crayon materials are well stocked and in working order for next show. *
• Cover other attraction areas as needed.
• Safely operate machinery and learn to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to ensure quality products are being produced.
• Contact Maintenance technician when mechanical assistance is required and inform supervisor of status.
• Facilitates art projects and activities with guests
• Assists in workshops, special events and outreach activities as needed
• Entertains with Roving cart around facility to entertain and educate guests on Crayola products.
• Interacts with guests wearing Crayola mascot characters (Tip & Pip)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for the operation.
• Fun, outgoing personality. Ability to engage guests, children, and families in an upbeat, positive manner.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience in a museum, educational setting, guest service center or family attraction helpful.
• Strong interpersonal and guest service skills required.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to guest service and programming procedures and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple functions and multitask.
