Job summary

Crayola Experience in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain a clean and safe environment within established policies. You will perform a variety of custodial tasks for a family attraction, ensuring restrooms and common areas are well kept and inviting for visitors.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities ranging from cleaning restrooms to assisting with emergencies when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete tasks quickly and effectively.
• Must maintain prompt and regular attendance.
• Strong oral, interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners and squeegees.
• Dusts furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills.

• May perform snow removal and salting duties at entrance ways.
• Assists with evacuations and emergencies as needed.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Monitor activity areas for cleanliness and adapt to visitor volume or needs.

GENERAL SUMMARY

To maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of The Crayola Experience. Employees will perform and oversee a variety of janitorial, custodial tasks to maintain a clean and safe building.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and services restrooms.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.
• Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dusts such items as furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.
• Maintains an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
• May perform snow removal and salting duties at entrance ways to The Crayola Experience.
• Assists with evacuations and emergencies as needed.
• Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• General decision regarding cleaning assignments will be made on a daily basis as needed according to the volume of people.
• Responsibility for monitoring activity areas for cleanliness and determining how to adapt the facilitation of an area due to visitor volume or visitor needs.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Prior experience cleaning a family attraction, institutional or educational setting preferred.
