Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. invites students to join as an Entertainment Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in New York.

The role offers hands-on experience in designing and delivering entertainment-related projects under experienced engineers, with a full 40-hour work week for at least ten weeks from mid-May to August. The position is entry level, with no prior experience required, and requires enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position with no previous experience required.
• Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of structural systems for entertainment and specialty projects
• Support testing of materials, preparation of specifications, and process studies
• Contribute to research investigations and the preparation of reports and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on multidisciplinary design and engineering projects
• Assist with construction drawings for concrete, steel, and wood structures
• Participate in field activities, site observations, and construction administration tasks as needed
• Review input from project managers and make adjustments to design work as directed
• Gain exposure to all phases of design and project delivery within the entertainment engineering practice

ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program

GPA 3.0 or higher
