KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Entertainment Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in New York. The position offers hands-on experience supporting the design and development of entertainment-related projects, under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Interns work a 40-hour week, with at least 10 weeks of work, from mid-May to late August. Interns will have a dedicated supervisor and mentor, participate in planned activities, and gain exposure to all phases of design and project delivery

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
• Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program.
• 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the design and development of structural systems for entertainment and specialty projects
• Support testing of materials, preparation of specifications, and process studies
• Contribute to research investigations and the preparation of reports and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on multidisciplinary design and engineering projects
• Assist with construction drawings for concrete, steel, and wood structures
• Participate in field activities, site observations, and construction administration tasks as needed
• Review input from project managers and make adjustments to design work as directed
• Gain exposure to all phases of design and project delivery within the entertainment engineering practice

KCI is seeking a motivated student for an Entertainment Engineering Internship to join our team for Summer 2027. This position offers hands-on experience supporting the design and development of entertainment-related projects, including unique structures and multidisciplinary engineering solutions, under the guidance of experienced engineers. Summer interns will work a 40-hour week, with at least 10 weeks of work required during the period from mid-May to the end of August. Interns will be assigned a dedicated supervisor and mentor, are required to attend planned activities. Responsibilities include:

Assist with the design and development of structural systems for entertainment and specialty projects
• Support testing of materials, preparation of specifications, and process studies
• Contribute to research investigations and the preparation of reports and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on multidisciplinary design and engineering projects
