Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident programs at our Santa Fe community. This is a full-time role with weekend availability and hours may vary.

The position focuses on creating engaging activities and a welcoming atmosphere for residents. You will plan monthly calendars, coordinate performers, deliver seminars, transport residents as needed, and maintain the resident library, while delivering high-quality customer service in a compassionate,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families and team members.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to multitask.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist development, planning and execution of resident activities.
• Assist in developing monthly calendar, procure performers, provide seminars, maintain resident library.
• Drive residents to events and assist them entering/exiting community vehicle.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. Hours may vary and weekend availability required.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the development, planning, implementation, and the execution of the activities for residents
• Assisting the development of the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library
• Driving residents to events and assisting residents to enter and exit the community vehicle

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and at least three (3) years of driving experience
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team membersMust be self-motivated, organized, and professional
• Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
• Strong customer service skills are required
