USA TODAY is seeking a dynamic Content Creator to amplify our Entertainment journalism across our website, app, social platforms and newsletters, expanding its reach and deepening audience engagement.

You will craft distinctive content and design a cohesive off-platform audience experience, working across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms to reach younger audiences and drive repeatable growth strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience in a digitally-focused news organization; entertainment experience is mandatory.
Experience creating content optimized for social media, newsletters or search; SEO knowledge required.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and journalistic ethics.

Responsibilities

Curate and program the Entertainment homepage; craft app alerts for timely, high-performing content.
Create engaging social content reflecting the brand voice, including video.
Curate/write newsletters; deepen 1:1 audience connection.
Collaborate with reporters and audience teams to amplify coverage and opportunities.
Execute user-generated content strategy and manage influencer outreach as needed.
Optimize on-site content for discoverability; explore new platforms for growth.
Support live coverage for breaking news and tentpole events.
