Job description

SUMMARY

Run the tasker engine for the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) Director of Staff. This position registers every action arriving from the Pentagon, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), MAJCOMs, and the AFSFC directorates on the day it lands, triages it, routes it to the correct Action Officer, and tracks it to closure through the Task Management Tool (TMT) and the Government-furnished Microsoft 365 environment. Daily volume averages roughly 25 formal tasks and more than 75 workflow-related emails. Own the routing rule set, daily backlog control, and the weekly leadership briefing on overdue tasks, unresolved legacy items, and critical items of interest. Define requirements with program leads for each new or updated workflow, clear critical stoppages, trains end users, and maintains the license inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate GOTS and COTS workflow systems, including the Task Management Tool (TMT) and the Government-furnished Microsoft 365 environment, at an average daily volume of approximately 25 formal tasks and more than 75 workflow-related emails.
  • Process, triage, and route 100% of daily tasks to the correct Action Officer within two business days, with no lost or improperly assigned taskers.
  • Assign Office of Primary Responsibility and Office of Collateral Responsibility by mission ownership of the directed action and by directorate equity and maintain the routing rule set in the governance documentation.
  • Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain all workflow management governance and programmatic documents, including operating instructions and how-to guides, in full compliance with current Air Force guidance and AFSFC program management directives.
  • Evaluate project timelines daily and deliver a weekly leadership briefing that identifies overdue tasks, unresolved legacy items, and critical items of interest, requiring no Government rework or correction.
  • Define requirements with program leads for each new or updated workflow, covering tasks, staff roles and responsibilities, and a binding completion timeline; deliver the project roadmap and communication plan before execution; and brief AFSFC leadership monthly on implementation progress.
  • Collaborate with the AFSFC Director of Staff to implement workflow business rules that measurably improve organizational efficiency, and resolve critical workflow stoppages within one business day.
  • Build and deploy automated processes and electronic forms within the Government-furnished Microsoft 365 environment, and report processing-time reduction against the agreed transition baseline.
  • Deliver end-user training on Government request and measure its effectiveness against the contract standard of a 90% or higher positive rating.
  • Produce a 100% accurate user license inventory and deliver it to the Contracting Officer's Representative within 24 hours of request.
  • Contribute workstream metrics, activity narrative, and deliverable schedule to the Monthly Status Report.
  • Serve as a fully qualified backup to the Information Manager and the Administrative and Strategic Support Specialist, sustaining full performance thresholds on all critical tasks during any absence, and cross-train on all three contract functional areas on a scheduled basis.
  • Build and maintain the continuity library for this workstream, including standard operating procedures, routing rules, how-to guides, and critical contact lists, throughout the period of performance.
  • Review all work products for Controlled Unclassified Information prior to dissemination, and safeguard all Government-furnished property and equipment issued for performance.
  • Complete and maintain all Government-required training, including Controlled Unclassified Information, cyber awareness, operations security, insider threat, annual security refresher, timekeeping, code of ethics, constructive communications, and ethical leadership.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
