Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Wi‑Fi Infrastructure Test Engineer to validate and optimize enterprise wireless networking solutions in an onsite role in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will design test plans, build lab environments, run functional and performance tests, and troubleshoot complex connectivity and security issues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Wi‑Fi testing experience, strong Python automation skills, and hands-on experience with Wi‑Fi protocols and tools like Wireshark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Wi‑Fi infrastructure testing.
• Strong knowledge of Wi‑Fi protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
• Strong Python for test automation.
• Experience with Wi‑Fi testing, validation, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans for enterprise Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
• Build and maintain wireless test environments including APs, controllers, switches, and routers.
• Perform functional, interoperability, scalability, performance, and reliability testing.
• Analyze traffic with Wireshark and diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Develop and enhance test automation tools using Python to improve coverage.
