Title: Enterprise Tool Developer and Quality Support Specialist- Remote

Program Summary: KBR's KAS program provides comprehensive Quality Engineering, Inspection, and Program Management services supporting Honeywell Aerospace, its customers, and suppliers. Services include First Article Inspections (FAIs), Source Inspections, Supplier Performance Management, and Customer Site-Based Quality & Program Management. The program emphasizes quality engineering, counterfeit parts management, process improvements, analytics, database management, and supply chain expertise. Job Summary: We seek a skilled professional to enhance an enterprise-wide business tool. This individual will have Programmer and Developer expertise to develop and deploy tool changes, support daily operations, handle administrative tasks, and interact with customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy enterprise tool enhancements as requested by the system lead
• Create test methods to verify changes before implementation
• Design user testing schemes
• Support daily tool operations as needed
• Review feature requests and collaborate with the system lead to prioritize and schedule updates
• Participate in planning and scheduling tool improvements
• Partner cross-functionally for assessing and implementing changes
• Assist in decision-making impacting daily operations
• Engage with customers regarding tool issues
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in Java, Oracle, JBOSS, Linux application programming, or equivalent
• US Citizen (ITAR and customer requirement)
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented design, algorithms, exception handling, troubleshooting
• Experience with Java APIs and frameworks on JBOSS/Linux/Unix
• Ability to modify Linux scripts
• Oracle database design experience for data warehousing and web apps
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience modernizing legacy Java applications
• Security vulnerability remediation in Java web apps
• Experience with cloud servers/databases, especially Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
