Program Summary

Job Summary

We seek a skilled professional to enhance an enterprise-wide business tool. This individual will have Programmer and Developer expertise, responsible for developing and deploying tool enhancements, supporting daily tool operations, providing administrative support, and engaging with customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise tool changes per system lead requests
• Create test methods to validate changes before deployment
• Design user testing schemes
• Support daily tool operations as needed
• Review and collaborate on new or additional feature requests
• Participate in planning and scheduling tool improvements
• Partner cross-functionally for assessing and executing changes
• Assist in operational decision-making
• Engage with customers regarding tool issues
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in Java, Oracle, JBOSS, Linux application programming, or equivalent
• U.S. Citizen (ITAR and customer requirements)
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented design, algorithms, troubleshooting
• Experience with Java APIs and frameworks on JBOSS/Linux/Unix
• Ability to modify Linux scripts
• Experience with Oracle database design for data warehousing/web apps
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience modernizing legacy Java applications
• Security vulnerability remediation in Java web apps
• Experience with cloud servers/databases, especially Azure
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Proactive, accurate, and able to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focus
