Program Summary

Job Summary

We seek a skilled professional to enhance an enterprise-wide business tool. This individual will have Programmer and Developer expertise to develop and deploy tool changes, support daily operations, and interact with customers. Responsibilities include administrative support and collaboration with stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy enterprise tool modifications as directed by the system lead
• Create test methods to ensure changes are effective and correct prior to deployment
• Design test schemes involving user testing
• Provide support for daily tool operations as needed
• Review and collaborate on new or additional feature requests based on business needs and schedules
• Participate in planning and scheduling tool improvements
• Partner cross-functionally to assess and implement changes
• Assist in decision-making impacting daily operations
• Engage with customers on operational issues
• Perform other assigned duties

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in Java, Oracle, JBOSS, Linux application programming, or similar
• US Citizen due to ITAR and customer requirements
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented design, algorithms, exception handling, troubleshooting
• Experience with Java APIs and frameworks on JBOSS/Linux/Unix
• Ability to modify Linux scripts and improve existing systems
• Experience with Oracle databases, RESTful web services, and modernizing legacy Java applications
• Security vulnerability remediation in Java web apps
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure/Microsoft
• Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
• High initiative, accuracy, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer focus
