Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation seeks a senior leader to drive enterprise Test Data Management and Quality Engineering across testing platforms, frameworks, and automation standards. You will lead a team of engineers and contractors, setting strategy and governance to improve software quality and delivery velocity.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Development, DevOps, Security, Risk, and Compliance to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant testing capabilities enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software testing, quality engineering, test automation, or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of direct people leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience leading enterprise testing, automation, or quality engineering initiatives.
• Experience implementing and supporting Test Data Management platforms and services.
• Experience integrating testing capabilities into DevOps and CI/CD delivery pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, SDLC, and QA principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise Test Data Management and Quality Engineering Practice with technical leadership and people mgmt.
• Develop and execute strategic roadmap for enterprise testing capabilities and automation platforms.
• Oversee a team of engineers and contractors, including coaching, career development, and performance review.
• Govern enterprise testing standards, patterns, frameworks, and best practices.
• Provide oversight for TDM platforms, including Delphix, data masking, and test data lifecycle management.
• Define and maintain testing frameworks across Functional, API, Integration, End-to-End, and Performance testing.
