Job summary

Bucks County Intermediate Unit is seeking an IT professional to design, implement, support, and manage enterprise servers, systems, and managed services for Bucks IU and its districts.

Responsibilities include administration of Windows-based servers, cloud and on-premises services, backups, and virtualization with VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix, plus on-site and remote support and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or technical school.
• Significant knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and hardware.
• Experience with enterprise backup and virtualization.
• Excellent organizational, project planning, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and manage enterprise servers, systems, and managed services.
• Support computer hardware, devices, peripherals, equipment, and operating systems.
• Interact with vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead enterprise technical initiatives and projects within budgets and timelines.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support; on-call 24/7/365 as needed.
• Configure devices for network connections and manage server/storage environments.
