Job summary

Meta is seeking an Enterprise Systems Engineer to build and secure the client platform within the company’s enterprise infrastructure. You will lead OS lifecycle management, hardware refreshes, and modernize endpoints using IaC, container orchestration, and software-defined storage.

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and secure the client platform within Meta's enterprise infrastructure.
• Lead OS lifecycle management and hardware refresh initiatives.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and software-defined storage.
• Build enterprise-grade apps/utilities for Windows, Linux, VDI, and Chrome OS.
• Develop reusable libraries/SDKs to standardize endpoint lifecycle management.
• Manage VDI across public/private clouds and private cloud environments.
• Implement app virtualization and streaming technologies.
• Optimize VDI performance, storage, networking, and user experience.
• Configure browser policies, kiosk mode, and zero-touch enrollment.
• Create scalable, automated, well-documented systems and train others.
• Leverage Meta’s scale to solve enterprise customer problems.
• Collaborate with Infra, Cloud, Security, and Networking teams.
• Participate in incident root cause analysis across layers.
