Job summary

California DMV is seeking an Application Developer to modernize and enhance DMV systems. You will build and maintain applications, support Salesforce/Mule releases, and enable new integrations and features.

This role involves collaboration with business and technical teams to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions, troubleshoot defects, and continuously improve the application landscape. You’ll contribute to architecture improvements, participate in project planning, and ensure quality through

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce platforms in enterprise environments.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution abilities.
• Experience in working across cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop technical designs for mission-critical DMV systems.
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Create REST/SOAP integrations, data services, and optimized database components.
• Support full development lifecycle activities, from requirements through post-implementation.
• Coordinate release planning, validation, rollback strategies, and post-release monitoring.
