Catholic Charities of Baltimore seeks an Enterprise Systems and Data Analyst to join our IT team. The role blends technical work with stakeholder engagement to turn needs into clear requirements and practical solutions.

You will develop dashboards, improve data accuracy, and create reports to help leaders make informed decisions in a hybrid schedule. Strong communication and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Data Science/IS Management or relatable discipline.
• Two (2) years of related experience in business analysis and/or business intelligence including data analysis, databases (SQL Server), BI (Power BI, Tableau), data mapping, metrics optimization and report creation.

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Enterprise Systems and Data Analyst who combines strong technical skills with the ability to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate clearly.

You’ll work with managers across diverse programs to understand how they work, uncover what they need, and turn those conversations into clear requirements and useful solutions. Whether improving an existing system, simplifying a workflow, or developing a dashboard, your work will help teams make informed decisions and advance our mission.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Hybrid options: Available based on business needs, performance expectations, and Agency policy.

What you’ll do:

• Lead conversations that uncover business needs. Ask clarifying questions, explore current processes, and help managers define the problem and desired outcome.
• Turn conversations into clear requirements. Document needs, confirm your understanding with stakeholders, and align differing perspectives and priorities.
• Recommend practical solutions. Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems, improve workflows, and strengthen data accuracy and reporting.
• Build useful reports and dashboards. Analyze and validate data, then explain findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Keep work moving. Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items; communicate progress; and help resolve barriers.
• Support other technology and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Data Science, Information Systems Management and Technology, or relatable discipline.
• Two (2) years of related experience in a business analysis and/or business intelligence capacity, including all aspects of process, including data analysis, databases (SQL Server), business intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), data mapping, metrics optimization and report creation.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to evaluate complex information, identify patterns, and recommend practical solutions that support business and technology decisions.
• Advanced technical proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI, PowerAutomate, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, and related web-based applications, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and tools.
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information, document requirements, and share insights accurately with business, technical, and leadership audiences.
• Collaborative interpersonal style, with the ability to build effective working relationships with staff, senior management, clients, visitors, and vendors while demonstrating courtesy, professionalism, and respect for diverse perspectives.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when analyzing data, documenting requirements, validating reports, and supporting decisions that rely on reliable information.
• Self-directed and flexible work style, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing Agency needs.
• Sound judgment and professionalism, with the ability to act with discretion, tact, and integrity when handling sensitive information, competing priorities, and varied stakeholder needs.
• Dependable and accountable, with consistent attendance, punctuality, and follow-through that support reliable service delivery and team effectiveness.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Hybrid work options are available, contingent upon business needs and performance expectations in alignment with the Agency’s policy.
• Remaining in a stationary position, which may involve standing or sitting for extended periods, as required to complete tasks or duties associated with the role.
• Engaging in communication with others to exchange information, which may involve speaking, listening, writing, or using electronic communication methods to ensure clear and effective understanding. This includes both verbal and non-verbal interactions with colleagues, clients, or external parties.
• Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, including tasks such as typing, data entry, or handling small objects. These repetitive activities may occur throughout the workday and require attention to ergonomics to ensure comfort and minimize strain.
