Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a Server Administrator to support enterprise applications and the underlying server infrastructure. The role covers server administration, OS maintenance, patching, monitoring, and incident resolution to keep critical services secure, reliable, and available.

You will collaborate with application owners, software engineering, infrastructure teams, and vendors to continuously improve operations and support lifecycle management while adhering to cybersecurity standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT or related field.
• 2+ years supporting enterprise apps and Windows/Linux servers.
• Experience with patching, troubleshooting and incident management.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers supporting enterprise applications.
• Perform OS updates, security patches and routine server maintenance.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot server, OS and infra issues impacting application availability.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operational support and escalate when needed.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, documentation and support procedures.
• Support deployments, DR and change/release management.
• Ensure cyber security, governance and standards compliance.
